Handwoven in Bolgatanga, northern Ghana, this large Bolga laundry basket brings warm, understated texture to everyday storage. Skilled artisans hand-plait each one from elephant grass, a strong, sustainable natural fibre, with a fine dark brown dash pattern running through the natural tan weave.

Two tall, leather-wrapped loop handles make it easy to lift and carry, and the open-top shape means it's just as happy holding laundry as it is blankets, towels, toys, or general overflow storage.

Measures approximately 51cm high x 48cm wide x 48cm deep.

Every Nathez Bolga basket is handmade in Ghana by artisans we work with directly, using traditional weaving techniques passed down through generations. Because each one is woven by hand, small variations in colour and texture are part of its character, not a flaw.
