Handwoven in Bolgatanga, northern Ghana, this large Bolga laundry basket brings colour and craft to everyday storage. Skilled artisans hand-plait each one from elephant grass, a strong, sustainable natural fibre, in bold burgundy and natural tan stripes that make every piece slightly unique.

Generously sized and finished with leather-wrapped handles for an easy carry, its open-top shape makes it ideal as a family laundry hamper or utility-room basket, or as spacious storage for towels, throws or toys.

Every Nathez Bolga basket is fair trade and handmade in Ghana by artisans we work with directly, using traditional weaving techniques passed down through generations. Because each one is woven by hand, small variations in colour and pattern are part of its character, not a flaw.
